(LINCOLN JOURAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "Kansas failed to resolve Republican River differences with Nebraska through negotiation. Now it's asking the U.S. Supreme Court to intervene.
Kansas Attorney General Steve Six announced the Supreme Court filing Tuesday, and David Barfield, that state's top water official, made it plain later in the day that replenished reservoirs and relatively generous river flows in the Republican Basin don't solve the problem."
