"CPNRD begins irrigation studies"

(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub reports, "How much more efficient are irrigators who use soil moisture equipment? Can a cover crop mix of turnips, radishes and small grains affect residual nitrogen in soils?

Those are two of several questions being studied this growing season at Central Platte Natural Resources District demonstrations sites by teams headed by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln researcher Dean Krull, who works out of the NRD office in Grand Island."
