"Platte River running and rising fast from Ashland to Louisville"

(LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "The lower patio deck at Heron Bay below the Nebraska 50 bridge near Louisville was underwater and getting deeper Monday.

'It's been higher than this before,' said Steve Smith, who helps his wife, Shirley, run the popular bar and restaurant. Shirley owns Heron Bay.

Water seeped through the ground nearby because of the high water table. Tables and chairs were stacked on the upper deck."
