(THE GRAND ISLAND INDEPENDENT) The Grand Island Independent reports, "Plans for another pipeline to carry Canadian oil across Nebraska attracted about 100 people to a hearing in York this week, with many expressing concern about the project.
The U.S. State Department's hearing Monday focused on TransCanada's plan to build the Keystone XL pipeline from the tar sands near Hardisty, Alberta, to oil refineries in Oklahoma and Texas. The hearing was the fifth of 19 planned in the six states the pipeline would cross."
