(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub reports "In what will probably be his last fall water operations meeting for the North Platte River reservoir system, John Lawson, area manager for the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation office in Mills, Wyo., said "We barely squeaked through" in describing the intense water situation that existed along the Platte all summer. "We're sitting on a potential problem that could be large. We don't need another spring like 2009."
