(KRVN 880 RURAL RADIO) KRVN 880 Rural Radio reports " Faced with the prospect of high flows in the Platte River now, or higher flows later, The Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District will increase water releases from Lake McConaughy to make room for spring inflows that are expected to be well above normal. The higher releases will begin on Monday."
