(OMAHA WORLD HERALD) The Omaha World Herald reports, "Nebraska emergency officials are monitoring the state's network of earthen dams after three broke Saturday. One of the breaks flooded the village of North Loup and led to its evacuation.
The failure of a Cedar River dam near Ericson in east-central Nebraska prompted authorities to issue flash flood warnings early Monday.
The National Weather Service said that the downstream towns of Primrose and Cedar Rapids in southwest Boone County 'could experience significant flooding.'"
