(SIOUX CITY JOURNAL) The Sioux City Journal reports, "The Environmental Protection Agency Region 7 office has taken a series of civil enforcement actions against three Iowa beef feedlot operations for violations of the Clean Water Act.
The actions are part of EPA operations aimed at ending discharges of pollutants from concentrated animal feeding operations, or CAFOs, into the region's rivers and streams. Two of the operations cited are in Sioux County and the other is in Mills County, near Council Bluffs."
