(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub reports, "The 22-member Republican River Basin Water Sustainability Task Force created earlier this year by the Nebraska Legislature will have its organizational meeting June 23 in McCook.
The task force was created by passage of LB1057, Holdrege Sen. Tom Carlson’s priority bill for the 2010 session. The focus is on complying with the Republican River Compact and the need to send a certain amount of water to Kansas each year."
