(GRAND ISLAND INDEPENDENT) The Grand Island Independent reports, "Morrill County Farm Bureau President Jeff Metz testified last week before the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee that a proposal to expand the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) powers under the federal Clean Water Act (CWA) should focus on finding common sense solutions to clean water, not give the federal government blanket authority for regulating all waters everywhere."
