(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub quotes "ALMA — The property tax asking and the occupation tax rate on
irrigated acres in the Lower Republican Natural Resources District will be the
same for the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
LRNRD Assistant Manager Scott Dicke said the property tax
asking in the overall budget proposal approved by the board Thursday for a
Sept. 8 public hearing is $1,010,100, the same as for FY2016. The hearing will
be just ahead of the board’s 7 p.m. regular meeting at the NRD office in Alma."
