(MCCOOK DAILY GAZETTE) The McCook Daily Gazette reported last week that the Middle Republican Natural Resources District was to discuss with the state options for planning for water short years, and reports the MRNRD Board decided to pursue a fourth option for the basin that develops a rolling average pumping allocation and includes allocation reductions that can react to dry years.
