"Lewis and Clark funding proposal worries official"

(SIOUX CITY JOURNAL) The Sioux City Journal reports, "President Barack Obama's administration is proposing $2 million next year for the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System.
Executive Director Troy Larson says that amount 'won't even keep the lights on.' Larson says officials were hoping for an amount closer to $27 million for the $537 million system, which eventually will bring treated Missouri River water to more than 300,000 people in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. He says it will be up the congressional delegations in the three states to try to increase the federal funding. Obama also recommended $2 million last year, and Congress bumped up the amount to $10 million."
