(McCOOK GAZETTE) The McCook Gazette reports on Sen. Christensen's bill to provide a mechanism whereby political subdivisions, primarily the Republican River basin NRDs, can refund taxes collected that are ultimately declared unconstitional, without the need, as is usually the case, for a taxpayer to file a protest at the time the tax is paid.
