(LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "Flood damage to roads and other public infrastructure in Nebraska has topped $14.1 million.
That's the latest figure as of Saturday, up from $13 million on Friday, said Al Berndt, assistant director of the Nebraska Emergency Management Agency.
State and federal disaster teams have completed preliminary assessments in 66 counties, Berndt said during a telephone news conference Monday."
