(HASTINGS TRIBUNE) The Hastings Tribune reports, "After decades of struggle with the Environmental Protection Agency, the city of Hastings has finally come to an agreement on the future of cleanup at the old Hastings Police Station.
On Monday, the Hastings City Council agreed to a consent decree, making the city responsible for paying $1 million over the next four years and providing $1.7 million total in in-kind services to the EPA over the next 13 years."
