A letter filed with the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals in St. Louis, Mo. indicates there's a settlement in the works.
Lead plaintiff Joan Schwan of Grand Island confirmed there is work ongoing regarding a settlement.
Her attorney, Lemuel Srolovic, of Weitz and Luxenberg in New York, and Cargill spokesman David Feider in Minneapolis released a joint statement Wednesday that said "a settlement has been reached."
