(LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "In the Southern High Plains, groundwater levels have fallen more than 150 feet. At the Nebraska end of the High Plains Aquifer, levels are virtually unchanged from the pre-irrigation era."
