"NRD Agrees to Share Cost of Waverly Dry Dam"

(LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "The Lower Platte South Natural Resources District has committed to splitting the cost of a $2.8 million flood-control project that will take 94 Waverly homes and businesses out of the 100-year flood plain."
