"Spring static water levels in UBBNRD up for 2016"

(HASTINGS TRIBUNE) Hastings Tribune quotes "Average spring static groundwater levels in the Upper Big Blue Natural Resources District rose by 1.2 feet from 2015 to 2016, the UBBNRD has announced.

The average reading for this spring stands 3.55 feet above the district’s designated “allocation trigger.” As a result, farmers in the district do not face the prospect of groundwater pumpage rationing in 2017."
