(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub reports, "The new Republican River Basin Water Sustainability Task Force created earlier this year by the Nebraska Legislature holds promise for addressing the basin's long-term water issues, Lower Republican Natural Resources District General Manager Mike Clements of Alma said Monday.
But it may not be the 'silver bullet' to solve all of the basin's problems, he added.
