(OMAHA WORLD-HERALD) The Omaha World-Herald reports "The Nebraska Department of Natural Resources will receive a $350,000 grant from the federal government to study water-management options in the Niobrara River basin.
The department announced the grant on Monday. Director Brian Dunnigan said the state's study proposal was one of only six projects to be selected in a 17-state region."
