Nebraska Supreme Court Rules No Standing For CNPPID To Challenge NRD Allocation

In a decision handed down today, Friday, August 27, the Nebraska Supreme Court has ruled that Central Nebraska Public Power and Irrigation District, which owns and operates Lake McConaughy and related irrigation and power plant cooling structures, does not have standing under the Nebraska Administrative Procedures Act to challenge the North Platte Natural Resources District's allocation of 12 inches per acre in the Pumpkin Creek Basin Groundwater Management Sub-Area.
