(OMAHA WORLD-HERALD) The Omaha World-Herald reports "Operators and opponents of the controversial Keystone XL crude-oil pipeline released competing polls Tuesday that produced almost opposite results.
A poll commissioned by TransCanada, the Canadian company building the cross-country pipeline, found that 69 percent of Nebraskans surveyed either strongly or somewhat supported the project.
A poll commissioned by three environmental groups opposed to the project found that 48 percent of Nebraskans opposed the project, with only 19 percent supporting it."
