(KEARNEY HUB) The Kearney Hub reports "The weight of their responsibility to define “sustainability” became more clear Tuesday to the 26 members of the new Republican River Basin Sustainability Task Force.
“This thing is gonna be a bear,” said Anthony Schutz as he pointed to “sustainability” projected on a wall of Alma’s Johnson Community Center during the task force’s second meeting.
Schutz and Nicole Wall of the National Drought Mitigation Center represent the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Public Policy Center as task force facilitators."
