(LINCOLN JOURNAL STAR) The Lincoln Journal Star reports, "With limited money available and projections of a lingering drought, state lawmakers gave initial approval Tuesday to a bill that would compensate farmers when Nebraska limits or shuts off irrigation in the Republican River Basin."
