(THE IMPERIAL REPUBLICAN) The Imperial Republican reports, "The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC) has finalized a bid for sediment removal at Champion Lake, in conjunction with the renovation of the dam.
Roger Kuhn, Assistant Director for the NGPC, said Monday that the contractor for the reconstruction project has agreed to remove silt and sediment from the site for $51,498.
BSB Construction of Curtis had earlier received the contract for the reconstruction part of the project for $133,827."
