(YANKTON PRESS & DAKOTAN) The Yankton Press & Dakotan reports, "Irrigators along Nebraska’s scenic Niobrara River have lost a court fight to keep the state and Nebraska Public Power District from regulating their water use.
In a ruling released Wednesday, U.S. District Judge Lyle Strom ruled that the state Department of Natural Resources did not violate the irrigators’ property rights by shutting down their water use three years ago."
