(SIOUX CITY JOURNAL) The Sioux City Journal reports, "A newly-released report shows Nebraska's watersheds are among the most contaminated by an herbicide commonly used on corn and other crops.
The report by the Natural Resources Defense Council released Tuesday shows the Big Blue River watershed in upper Gage County had the highest maximum peak concentration of atrazine of 20 watersheds in five farm states monitored in 2007 and 2008.
