(OMAHA WORLD-HERALD) The Omaha World-Herald reports, "Water experts will gather in Holdrege to discuss issues of interest to farmers, conservationists and the public.
"The 16th Annual Holdrege Water Conference will be held February 4, 2010, at the Phelps County Ag Center. Among the speakers will be Ken Cassman, a University of Nebraska-Lincoln professor who will talk about the relationship between irrigation and corn yields."
