(SIOUX CITY JOURNAL) The Sioux City Journal reports, "The National Weather Service and U.S. Geological Survey reported Perry Creek set a flooding record rising to 28.7 feet at 3:30 a.m. Sunday, May 19, 1990. Flood stage was 24 feet."
